The Bulletin of University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicin Cluj-Napoca. Veterinary Medicine is an international, open access, semiannual scientific journal, published in English, by the AcademicPres Publishing House.
The journal is devoted to promote and disseminate scientific knowledge in the field of Veterinary sciences and related academic disciplines, such as fundamental and preclinical sciences: morphology and pathomorphology, physiology and pathophysiology, experimental pathology, biochemistry and molecular biology, pharmacy and pharmacology, microbiology and epidemiology, animal hygiene, welfare and environment protection, nutrition and nutritional pathology, genetics and animal breeding, professional ethics and veterinary legislation; and also clinical sciences: internal medicine and clinical laboratory, parasitology and dermatology, veterinary obstetrics and pathology of reproduction, surgery and surgical pathology, anesthesiology and intensive care, infectious diseases and preventive medicine, veterinary toxicology, food safety and public health, comparative and clinical oncology, etiology and etiopathology.
The journal accepts review articles, research articles and short communications from the field of veterinary sciences, which are peer-reviewed and published after their acceptance.

Hop and Medicinal Plants
Hop and Medicinal Plants was founded in 1993 as the journal of "The Hop and Medicinal Plants Research Center" of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca. Until 2008, the journal published articles in Romanian, with an abstract in English. Starting with year 2008, to increase the international visibility, all articles were published in English. For providing the rigors of a modern scientific journal, the scientific value of articles has been warranted by the competence of the editorial board.
At present, Hop and Medicinal Plants is a peer-reviewed, biannual, open acces journal, aimed to publish scientific articles with a focus on hop and medicinal plants ecology, physiology, natural product chemistry, pharmacological activity, farming technology, plant protection (diseases, pests, weeds), genetics, plant breeding, biotechnology and uses. Articles must demonstrate new scientific insight, original technologies or new creations that have general application and relevance.
Reviews covering the various topics of hop and medicinal plants are required; authors have to contact the General Editor before submission in order to establish the journal's interest in the topic and nature of the article.

Besides acute environmental pollution and its harmful effects, climatic changes also represent an especial challenge, worldwide. From these points of view all ecosystems, including the agricultural ones, have similar problems. Besides a need for more detailed knowledge laying on scientific support, there is a need to share problems and solutions with all those interested in this field. Within Romanian journalistic landscape dedicated to environmental issues this journal focuses on a wide spectrum of environmentally interests. The ProEnvironment journal, edited by the Department of Environmental and Plant Protection under the patronage of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Â publishes contributions under the headings of Technical Reports, Reviews and Analyses, Environmental Issues, Short Communications, and Book Reviews. It aims to cover a large spectrum of issues in the field of environmental engineering and protection including terrestrial, atmospheric, and aquatic systems, education for sustainable development, environment and health, etc. Emphasis is given to the understanding of both underlying processes and monitoring systems. Contributions reporting original research or brief reviews and analyses dealing with some aspect of environmental quality in natural and agricultural ecosystems are accepted from all disciplines for consideration by the editorial board. Manuscripts may be volunteered, invited, or coordinated as a symposium. Acceptance of a group of symposium manuscripts for collective publication is limited to one such group per issue. Book reviews may be invited by the editor. Renowned scientists support the editorial board of the journal, which benefits of a highly professional scientific and technical team. We welcome contributors and will hope that initializing such a journal will represent a milestone in Romanian scientific publications in the field of environmentally protection.
