Abstract

The paper highlights the necessity of illustrating the tendency of different technical or economical indicators. Starting from this point of view it is presented a concrete method to evaluate numerically the presence of the tendency and to measure its intensity. Examples are given by the evolution of the average production of cereals from seven Central and Eastern European countries. In the most situations was concluded that the evolution of the average production of main cereal crops are characterized by a positive tendency but of a small or very small intensity.
