Study Regarding the Reaction of Some New Tomato Hybrids Cultivated in Cold Greenhouse in Bucharest Zone
Abstract
The study was realised in the cold greenhouse from Vegetable Horticulture Department, Universiy of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Bucharest, Romania, between 2007-2008 years. The culture was made on the soil. Generally, in our country, during the cold season the fruit of smaller size between 100-150 g is used and in the warm season, the tomato with bigger fruit of 150-200 g. We test 8 tomato hybrids cultivated between 10th of April and 10th of October in cold greenhouse with ten inflorescence on the plants. On the basis of the production dates in cold greenhouse for those 8 tomato hybrids we found out that the biggest total production was recorded at Monroe F1 (9.45 kg/plants). The fruit mass of tomato was in average of 185 g, uniformly. The early productions also represent 27 % of total production.Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
