Abstract

Studies were conducted to identify the influence of growth regulators on seed germination of dill and parsley. Growth regulators are organic compounds of natural origin or synthetic chemical structure very varied, which, administered in small quantities, some profound change physiological functions of plants. Investigations were carried in the laboratory of the Vegetable Department, State Agrarian University of Moldova. As active substances were investigated several growth regulators in different concentrations: Epin, Ţircon, Sodium humates. Studies were done with the aims to observe the influence of these regulators, to the capacity and energy of seed germination.
