Study of Birch Extract Using FT-IR Spectroscopy
Abstract
In the last year, FT-IR spectroscopy has been introduced as a very efficient and non-destructive analytical tool for the reliable identification of triterpenes resulted from various extraction methods. In the present study it was iinvestigated the principal components and the presence of betulin and betulinic acid to the birch commercial extraction products from natural sources using FT-IR technique.
