ASPECTS OF EXPERIMENTAL OBESITY IN RATS
Abstract
Obesity in human but also in pats represents an increasing health problem especially in developed countries. For this reason but also because of its associated pathology, the obesity research is very developed. In our study we propose to experimentally induct obesity in whistar rats. For this we overfeed an experimental lot of rats and periodic was measured body weight in correlation with body mass index (BMI), metabolic and lesional, microscopic and macroscopic changes, especially in adipose tissue, changes that appeared till age of 200 days. All data obtained will be interrelated in correlation with rats from a control lot.a) Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
