Abstract

Today's high-technology dairy cattle on large agglomerations caused a number of healthproblems. The aim of this paper is to indicate the presence of trichophytia, as a health problem, whichis present on all farms and herds of Holstein Friesian and Simmental breeding in the individualbreeding. Trichophytia is a health problem not only for animals but for the workers and veterinarianson farms. Trichophytia occurs mainly in calves and cows with poor body condition. Trichophytiacattle dermatomycosis caused by Trichophyton verucosum.The cause of this disease lives on the skin surface and its proteolitic and keratolytic enzymesand exotoxins cause parakeratosis and inflammatory changes. The predisposing factors for theoccurrence of trichophytia ranks higher percentage of humidity, overcrowding in the facilities, age ofanimals in the herd and the quality of food. The infection is transmitted by direct contact. For the onsetof winter weather favors the disease. However, in our previous studies diagnostic trichophytia ishighly pregnant heifers keeping related systems, in the fall (October-November) the number of cattlefarms holstein- friesian tied housing systems.
