CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE CALCULATION OF CORRECTIONS APPLIED TO GEOMETRIC GEODESIC LEVEL NETWORKS
Abstract
The paper refers to the thickening of the geometric geodesic levelling network in Bistriţa Municipality, with normal altitudes. In this sense, the corrections due to the non-parallelism of the level surfaces and the gravity anomaly are applied to the measured level differences. For higher order geodetic geometric levelling networks made over large areas, it is mandatory to apply transition corrections from the measured elements at normal altitudes. When applying gravimetric anomaly corrections, it is necessary to perform gravimetric measurements on the levelling lines. In order for the value of the applied corrections to be optimal, the distance between the gravimetric points must not exceed 3-4 Km. The special problem for the homogenization of the corrections obtained over time requires the choice of the calculation relation of the normal gravity, depending on the ellipsoid used and the application of the calculation of the transition calculation to the Gravimetric System 1971. To avoid recording errors and increase work efficiency, it is recommended to use digital levels for automatic data download to the PC.
