RURAL MONOGRAPH, PAST AND CURRENT PERSPECTIVES
Abstract
This paper aims to present the specifics of the rural monograph, a research activity initiated in Romania in the interwar period through the Sociological School in Bucharest, coordinated by Professor Dimitrie Gusti. We also emphasized the importance of this field of research and its perspectives in the current context, considering that this sociological approach will represent in the future an efficient method for the complex knowledge of the realities of the Romanian village.
