ASPECTE PRIVIND CONSUMUL DE APĂ LA CULTURA DE PORUMB IN CONDIŢIILE CÂMPIEI TRANSILVANIEI
Abstract
In the experiences organized at Jucu between 2006-2008, it was proved that for achieving high levels of poduction for the corn crop, it is absolutely necessary to mentain a good water supply during the whole vegetation period. The monthly average consumption and daily consumption, in monthly averages, are more different because of the vegetation period of the crop and the evolution of weather, the most important results were found in July and August, when the water supply needed completion, special forms of watering were used. The idea of starting and mentainig the irrigation, where is possible in the Transylvanian Plain is obvious, the arguments obtained in three years of experimentation, 2006-2008, were confirmed by the ones before. The papers published in the journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, which permits unrestricted, non-commercial use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the work is properly cited.
