STUDIES REGARDING THE EVOLUTION OF DEVELOPMENT IN MIHAI VITEAZU – CLUJ COUNTY AREA
Abstract
Development and rural land are one of the most complex and timely topics, nationally and internationally, driven by requirements to achieve a balance between the need for conservation of rural economic space, the social – cultural and environmental space on the one hand and the tendency for modernizing the rural life on the other hand. This paper proposes an analysis of rural development in Romania and its multiple facets, with emphasis on rural development concepts in terms of sustainability and multifunctionality. The example that was analyzed is Mihai Viteazu, Cluj County, which received the status of "European village" and due for upgrading in recent years has made important steps towards the close of urban civilization. The papers published in the journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, which permits unrestricted, non-commercial use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the work is properly cited.
