MANAGEMENT DIAGNOSIS – METHOD OF INCREASING THE VIABILITY POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURAL EXPLOITATIONS

Abstract

The diagnosis, being a management method, can be used by any manager regardless his hierarchical position in the organizational structure in different ways. Ending a managerial cycle and preparing a new one are ensured by /through diagnosis, in this context making the connection between “what was and what is going to be” in that very domain. The analysis of the methodological system reveals the following important aspects: during the management processes there are partially used some of the well-known management systems, methods and techniques. The analysis on domains of activity of the studied firm pointed out a series of weaknesses and strengths that put a mark on the firm’s activity. Thus, in the managerial domain, the lack of a specialized department on the training activity is an inconvenient, but it is an advantage that there are followed the requests of the rationality of decisions. In the commercial domain, the insufficient funds for products’ promotion , as well as the low degree of development of marketing activities is a disadvantage, while the good competitiveness of the products represent the main advantage of this domain.
