Testing the Anti-Alternariosis Effect of Aqueous Extract of Allium cepa L. in Potato

Abstract


The potato, one of the most important vegetable crops in Romania, faces the same problems related to the sustainable management of phytosanitary protection. Based on these premises, it is increasingly necessary to identify unconventional solutions for antifungal and anti-bactericidal treatments applied to potato cultivation. The experiment carried out in 2020 has an organization according to a two-factor scheme, with three repetitions, according to an experimental scheme implemented according to the randomized block method. In the Redsec variety, the interaction between the degree of attack of the fungus, temperature and humidity is of low and medium intensity, with the lowest value for the treatment with 3.3% aqueous solution Allium cepa L. In the Roclas variety, the interaction is of low intensity and average, with the highest values for the experimental variant treated with 2.2% aqueous solution Allium cepa L.
