Abstract

The administration of contrast substance is necessary in order to visualize the normal aspect of the rachidian canal/tube as well as the changes that have appeared in various anatomic regions of the spine/spinal column. Taking into account that cats are extremely sensitive/responsive to iodine contrast substances, we have tried to identify a contrast substance that would not affect the patient’s life; we have also tried to offer a highly qualitative radiologic image. Non-ionic contrast substances (Ultravist 300) accomplish the imposed conditions; this fact determined their use
