SURGICAL TREATMENT IN TURTLE CLOACAL PROLAPSE
Abstract
A seven years old turtle (Testudo hermani) was diagnosed with cloacal prolapse. General anesthesia was performed using ketamine 50mg/kg I.M. Induction time was 45 minutes. The prolapsed tissue was lavaged with sterile saline solution and Betadine solution.
